Power
Sections
The Dyna-Drill® manufacturing facility is
equipped with the latest generation of the Weingartner machining
center capable of contouring ten meter long rotors. The manufacturing
facility includes the latest rubber injection equipment and
steam autoclaves for stator manufacturing.
Elastomers
Lab
Dyna-Drill® elastomers lab provides a broad
set of capabilities to develop new stator rubber and to study
the impact of drilling fluids on power section stators. The
rubber lab is equipped with a rheometer, dynamic mechanical
thermal analyzer, tensometer, and drilling fluid immersion
oven. The elastomer lab provides drilling fluid compatibility
test and advanced failure analysis services to Dyna-Drill's
customers.
Quality
Control Lab
The advanced coordinate measuring machine
at Dyna-Drill® quality control lab is capable of accurately
measuring part's dimensions within .00001 of an inch. The
coordinate measuring machine utilizes a custom data acquisition
software to measure power section rotor and stator core profiles.
Dynamometer
Dyna-Drill® power section performance is
evaluated on a 1000 hp dynamometer powered by two triplex
mud pumps. The dynamometer is capable of testing power sections
as large as 12 inches in diameter and 300 inches long. Every
Dyna-Drill® power section design has been proved on the dynamometer
prior to production release. Dyna-Drill® offers power section
and motor testing to its customers.
